Newsletter Change
Please note that this newsletter is for the remainder of the month of May. As we prepare the children to take on more personal responsibility, they will be expected to note core subject tests and assignments in their assign-ment books.
Group Picture
Classroom group pictures will be taken on Thurs, May 10.
ITBS
Results of your child’s performance
on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills can be picked up in my classroom before or after school May 14-18. Test information will be available at the office after that date.
Agriculture Heritage Day
Third and fourth grade students will walk to Frankenmuth High School on the morning of May 18 for a presenta-
tion on agriculture. Please note the permission slip coming home today.
Gym Uniforms
Information is coming home regarding gym uniforms for next year. Please sign and return the form by Monday, May 21. Samples of sizes will be outside our classroom. Fees will be collected at the beginning of next school year.
Reading Evaluation
We will continue with the compre- hension and fluency articles. The assignment will be sent home each week and due on Thursdays.
“Stay the Course”
As we approach the end of the school year with its many activities, students often “relax” in their studies, as well as in their behavior. Please encourage your child to “stay the course” through five more weeks of the school year.
