 Reading Evaluation

We are beginning a new theme in our reader which focuses on money.  “A New Coat for Anna”, our first reading selection ( pp.14-23) is based on a true story which was told to the author by a friend.  You may want to talk about the idea of bartering.  Please turn in a blue evaluation slip by next Thursday. 

   Valentine Box

Please bring in a shoebox (or box of similar size) which has been wrapped with foil or wrapping paper (white works well.) The top of the box will need to be wrapped separately from the bottom so it can easily be opened. Please cut a slit in the top of the box so Valentine cards can be dropped inside. We will be decorating these wrapped boxes in school. If the kids have extra materials like stickers that they would like to use in decorating their box, they may bring that in also. Please have your box here by

Biography Presentations
