Spelling: This week we are reviewing words from the last four units. The test will be on Thursday.

Postage Stamp: Each student needs to bring in a postage stamp no later than this Thursday. I will also have a few stamps available for purchase (forty-four cents).
Discovery Sharing: We are looking forward to seeing the Day 100 displays or collections. Guidelines for that were explained in the special pink note brought home last Friday. Students may bring their projects anytimethis week, but preferably by Thursday. I’m counting on each student to participate in this special Discovery Sharing opportunity.
Day 100 Snack: Please send your child’s snack contribution on Thursday. Details were on the pink note your child received last Friday.

Upcoming Events:
Tuesday, February 14th: We will exchange Valentines at our party.
Thursday, February 16th: Our class presents the morning devotion at the Lutheran Home.
Saturday, March 3rd, 9:15 – 11:30 a.m.: Some of the first graders will present books they have written at the Young Authors’ Conference.
Sunday, March 4th: First graders sing at the 8:00 a.m. worship service in church.
March 4th – 9th : This is National Lutheran Schools Week. Watch for information on special activities.
