Frankenmuth Credit Union, 580 North Main Street - Frankenmuth, will host a health screening on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 9 am through 4:30 pm.
As thousands of pro-life supporters headed for the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court building for the end of the 36th annual "March for Life," LCMS President Gerald B. Kieschnick said he hoped Thursday's strong LCMS participation would encourage even more church members to speak out on behalf of life.
With the upcoming renewal of their present lease and with the problems of the mold and water in the basement, it was decided to look for a new home. Our new store will be at 5119 GRATIOT. It is at the corner of Center and Gratiot, between the K-mart and Kroger in the Plaza.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) of Trinity Lutheran Reese is hosting a fundraiser on October 24th & 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese. Antiquities is a company that will be coming in and taking photographs of kids in old fashioned clothing with old fashioned props.

A live comedy event for the entire family at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Birch Run, Saturday, October 25 at 7:00 pm. Featuring the hilarious comedy of Mike Williams and David P. Dean. Tickets are available at St. Martin, Noah's Cove, and Family Christian Stores.
Dr. Jean Garton will be the featured speaker this year at the Saginaw County Focus on Life Dinner. You may remember Dr. Garton when she spoke at St. Lorenz several years ago on the Life Issues. It will be a wonderful and inspiring evening to gather with other pro-lifers just before the elections at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw, on Thursday, October 16, 2008, with a Social Gathering at 5:45 p.m. followed by Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost $40 per person. If you are interested please contact Jean Peters at 652-2542 by October 3, as we are planning to organize several tables from St. Lorenz.
A volunteer van driver is needed to transport residents at the Lutheran Home in our new van to medical appointments, family celebrations, or other special events.
Life Line Screening will be holding a Vascular Screening event on Monday, September 22, 9am - 4:30pm at the Frankenmuth Credit Union.
The Saginaw Lutheran Scholarship Mixed Doubles Bowling League is ready to begin a new season. We need new teams, couples and/or singles to keep our league strong.
Each year all prize money is directed toward scholarships for students studying at a synodical college in the preaching or teaching programs. Several scholarships are given each year. To date over $65,000 has been given since our league began 50 years ago.
The tantalizing aroma of roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, sauerkraut, German potato salad, buttered noodles, salads and pie will be filling the halls of Zion Lutheran church on Saturday, September 6.

Saginaw Habitat for Humanity will preserve, update, and upgrade exteriors of homes and their yards in a 15-block area near Covenant HealthCare on Saginaw's west side. The dates for our inaugural NIP project will be July 25 - August 1 (except Sunday), from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Celebrations will be August 1 at noon in Bliss Park.
